WE want to take this opportunity to introduce Drs. Israel and Efrocine Auerbach (Th.D) and their ministry in Jerusalem, Israel and the nations.

Israel is a "Sabra", a native Israeli, since he was born in Israel - in Tel Aviv. He received Yeshua as his Mashiach, the Saviour, when His Spirit touched him on the Mount of Olives.

After serving in the Israeli army, he and a few other men lead the initiative to "settle" the Golan Heights. They built the towns Katsreen and Gamla. He is from the tribe of Judah and the house of King David from both sides of his family. His family were Zionists, who zealously helped to restore the new state of Israel and to settle returning Jews in it.

Israel's maternal grandfather, was a rabbi in the Austrian army. When he "heard" God (of Israel) warning him of danger that was coming to Europe, he obeyed like Noah and immigrated with his family to Palestine. Unfortunately most of his family in Europe were killed by the Germans because they didn't heed his warning and stayed behind.

Israel loved the land of his fathers, the land of Israel, and like king David, was a psalmist and in addition to that, a lover of the Torah, the word of Elohim, the God of Israel. He volunteered for one of the most dangerous units in the Israeli Defence Forces, knowing that he might not come out of it alive. He fought to make Israel safe from terrorism.

Having seen so much violence over many years in many assignments of his unit, he suffered with flashbacks of the war for seven years. He was declared totally disabled by army doctors and found crazy by his family. Today he is completely healed, after having been touched and transformed by Yeshua, Adonai Rafah, the Healer, the Miracle- working God!

Blessed be His Holy Name forever! Baruch ha ba b'Shem Adonai!

Efrocine (euphrosyne in Greek, meaning rejoice in the Lord), is an internationally known Jewish-Greek fashion designer. She received a visitation from Yeshua at a Greek Orthodox orphanage in Athens, Greece when she wanted to marry her Mashiach - to be His bride. Efrocine sculpted and painted with watercolours on silk for twenty-five years in the art and fashion world. She exhibited internationally and won several USA national awards in sculptural painting wearable-art; especially from the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York and the Textile Museum in Washington D.C.

Although she was considered to be one of the "people-to-know" with famous leaders of nations who were her exclusive clientele, she felt worthless and "dead inside". It caused her to cry out to the Lord of her childhood when a strong conviction came over her about her life. Although she had dedicated herself as "a priest of Beauty" to the the Lord Yeshua, and although she had been rewarded for creating "beautiful paintings" for Him, her "soul-life" was "not" a beautiful painting!

After receiving a national award in 1980, at the height of her career, she was attacked with cancer and multiple illnesses (just as her mother)! Praise Adonai, that the God of Israel, Elohim Raphah'ah, revealed Himself to her in power and might as her Healer at this time!

In the nineteen nineties Efrocine's huge 40 feet silk painted murals adorned the stages at the Convention Center in Jerusalem for the Feast of Tabernacles and traveled throughout the nations, glorifying the God of Israel!

After they had been turned around by the Lord, they qualified at Bible College and then pastored a Messianic Congregation in Cleveland, TN. Here they saw many miracle healings and signs and wonders. People came from 4 states to their meetings, staying to be ministered to and to worship till the morning hours.

Through an affiliation with Gospel Crusade Inc., Dr. Gerald Derstine's ministry, in Bradenton Fl., they began to lead Shabbat meetings. The aim was to teach non-Jews God's identification with and true inheritance in the land of Israel, the land of their Mashiach Yeshua. They devoted their lives to the Gospel and ministered mostly in the United States.

In 1991 when Efrocine's Silk paintings were at the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem, Israel's father beckoned to his son to come home. As  an incentive he offered him a piece of desolate land on Samuel's Mountain and asked him to return to develop it! They took up the challenge and began to restore the piece of land on Samuel's Mountain on the border of Judah and Benjamin - 15 min northwest of Jerusalem - see: http://mountain-of-samuel.tripod.com/Gibeon.html.

During the summer of 1993 Israel and two volunteers built the first retaining walls. Putting one stone upon another, it took three 3 months to build ~100m of the wall at the top that separates the land from the road running along there. Israel building the top retaining wall

In the process of developing their little farm on Samuel's Mountain, they have the privilege to minister and interact with Orthodox Jews who regularly visit the mikveh (purifying bath) built over one of Samuel's springs. Many of them regard Samuel's Mountain as the second most important religious place in Israel, after the Wailing Wall on the Temple Mount.

However, owning land and having a proper deed is of no consequence these days in contested regions of Israel. The land must be occupied, and even then the right of ownership is still contested. This is the case with Samuel's Mountain since it is situated on the West Bank - historic Judea and Samaria - that is now being given to the Arabs from neighboring countries who are occupying it. Israel's father gave him this land, but the responsibility to guard it 24 hours a day gives him little rest. He also receives little assistance from his family, fellow believers and the Israeli government to help him with essential services and to pay the bills and the cost of developing the land from the state of desolation he had found it in, to the virtual garden it is today. He has to rely on the goodwill of volunteers to help him since he cannot afford to hire laborers. Few volunteers, however, have the "goodwill" or vision it takes to endure living and working on the mountain. It is problematic since Israel and Efrocine need to live elsewhere due to a lack of facilities on the mountain. They also need to be free to travel to the nations to fulfill their calling in line with the reality in our day, that the word of the Lord [again] comes from Zion - Isaiah 2:3.

Similar to the pagan gods we read about in the Old Testament, the god of Islam also has an affinity for high places. Samuel's Mountain is therefore just as important to him as it is to the God of Israel and it causes the spiritual and physical battle the Auerbachs are involved in for his piece of land on the mountain. The God of Israel's strategy for Israel seems to be to keep a low profile, which causes him endless frustration since it manifests in the slow pace of development of his farm and "obstacles" that are put in his way.

Their aims set for Tabernacle of Zion to aid the outpouring of the spirit on all flesh, also came to fruition on Samuel's Mountain. Under their ministry many of their volunteers and visitors are getting saved and are baptized in water and in the Spirit. Just about all of them need healing from rejection and abuse and deliverance from addiction, prostitution and false religions, including new age.

*In the summer of 1998 they erected a big tent with the help of a Spanish congregation from Tel Aviv. Afterwards they spent all night praising and worshiping God to dedicate the tabernacle to him. It resulted in a tangible anointing that filled and remained in the tent. The tent was erected in answer to a word from the Lord seven years earlier to establish a Tabernacle of David on the Samuel's Mountain. Word about the manifestation of the power and glory of God in the tent spread like wild fire, and up to 300 tourists and local groups starting visiting the tent every day. Toward the end of October, a few months later, however, this glorious activity was brought to an end when a petrol bomb was thrown on the tent, causing it to burn down. Who knows, perhaps the Lord just favored them with a glimpse of his glory before returning them to the former low profile status quo.

*The Lord's strategy for the Auerbach's property might actually be to keep a low profile to avoid controversy like at Har Homa. Just about all of the land on the mountain belongs to Jewish developers, but they cannot build on it presently because of it being a natural resort. It might indicate that it is enough for the Lord for now that most of the land belongs to Jews.  It being such an important HIGH PLACE, it is unthinkable that another Rama will not arise there in future for people to inhabit rather than trees, because they cannot bring praises to God the way Spirit-filled humans can. Israel and Efrocine's vision for the true Church, the Bride of Jesus Christ, is found in Galatians 3:28. "There is neither Jew nor Greek; there are not many gods; there is just one God; there are not many gospels, just One; there are not many ways, just one Way -Jesus Christ, Yeshua the Messiah. The gifts of II Corinthians 12 operate freely through the Auerbach's ministry, leading to many getting healed in body, soul and spirit and the restoration relationships and of finances.

Among intercessors in Israel and worldwide, Samuel's Mountain is regarded as the official "Prayer Watch Gate" of Jerusalem from the northwest. In these last days, as the battle for Jerusalem heats up, God is watching over it in a special way. He is calling his Church to stand with him as watchmen in prayer in accordance with Isaiah 62:6,

Isaiah 62:6-7 I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the LORD, give yourselves no rest, and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.

WILL YOU STAND WITH THE GOD OF ISRAEL IN HIS BATTLE FOR HIS LAND AND HIS CITY, JERUSALEM?

And with his servants Israel & Efrocine Auerbach in their battle to secure Samuel's Mountain for him and their mission to minister effectively to the nations?
